Fidelity provides great environment to learn, try, and scale. Training was exemplary. Management was supportive. You were allowed as much independence as you could handle. Many opportunities for advancement.
Tuition reimbursement available as well as matching K contributions. Very diverse, enthusiastic, lively place to work. People are very friendly and always available to offer a helping hand. The management is great and very respectful to its workers. Having been with Fidelity for durhamm 17 rurham, I can say that compsnies role is very different, as durjam who you work for, but the core values and culture are extremely positive and supportive to employees.

Yes 1 No. A great place to work, and I loved it. I learned to deal with complex pension benefits and six sigma projects. Workplace culture was awesome and diverse. The hardest part of my job was, before my husband died, I had to leave to take im of. The most enjoyable part of my job was independence, remote flexibility, interacting with other cultures and being a valued employee. I feel like crying just writing this review!!!
Fidelity is a good place to work with great benefits. They invest in their employees with constant training availability. The bonuses are great. If the market im well most of the year, then the bonuses are better.
Good durnam people who want a good life and work place balance such as parents. Not a good place for those who want to use cutting edge tech. Fidelity uses an old tech stack and hasnt move very far into the cloud. If you get a job here, keep it long enough to find another job.

Advanced in technology as a result of frequent useful training; and lunch and learns on technology related to the role. If you are minority or a woman save yourself from this atrocious work experience. I worked in defined benefits, the manager for our group was new to this division. The culture at this company is better suited to younger people, as they seem to overlook older employees.
Great work — life balance. That said, the «turn on a dime» initiatives confuses established norms. Disconnect from branch and corporate operating policy.
The company itself is one I ih a lot. They have great values, benefits, and care a lot about work life balance. It’s more like you’re working to live, versus living to work. Which I inveestment appreciate. However, the work itself can be tedious and boring. I felt drained at the end of the day and was in a bad mood simply because I didn’t talk to a single person all day. I love the duruam and it’s great for advancement, but companiea sure you’re in a good position for you.
My review is based on my experience and some of what I see. Fidelity is generally a good a company but what I have experienced is team leads who are bullies, Male directors who are Male shovenist and bullies, and encourage the same from their team leads companiez offering no encouragement at all. They are quick to put you. Although my time was short on my account, the company has many awesome benefits and truly values employees with an understanding for lifestyles.
It’s great to feel valued even for such a big company. Fidelity Investments was an amazing company. Compensation and Benefits are best in djrham. Upward mobility is very rewarding. The culture is very cmpanies, focused on delivering world class customer service. We worked hard but it was noticed. Chaotic management with a disconnect between strategic vision at the top level and execution by senior management.
Great benefits. The top durjam of the company has compaies calm with a vision as the company is positioning for industry challenges — fee compression and passive investing invasion.
However the senior heads at division level has been chaotic and inept. Some only know cost cutting without any real strategy. Many portfolio managers do not generate performance. Office politics and nepotism plague the culture. Turnover is high. A very high pressure and busy work environment. Westlake campus has nice amenities, co,panies as an on-site gym, cafeteria, Starbucks, jogging trail, and investment companies in durham nc ping-pong area.
